Confidence grows in Cavs' win without LeBron

USA TODAY Sports

Without LeBron James on Wednesday, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love took it upon themselves to get the job done against Dallas.

CLEVELAND, OHIO— Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love knew what they were facing without LeBron James on the floor.

“We know what the record is,” Irving said. “I believe it’s 3-12.”

Coming into Wednesday’s game against Dallas, Irving was correct— the Cavaliers had lost 12 of the 15 games that Cleveland played with James on the bench over the past two seasons.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue too knew the record and knew that it was up to both Irving and love to improve it to 4-12.
